So, I have goals I’m working towards.

Some of them I enjoy working against, others, I only enjoy getting closer to the goals. It is called discipline.

When people get surprised by me not liking or enjoying most of what I spend my time doing, I just shrug and ignore them.

Some of what I do is because I enjoy it. But not everything. I’d rather put in the work and fail than being one of those who die with regrets about not trying.

But this is the important thing. I don’t care if it is perfect today or any day. I just care that when I look at weeks and months I move closer to where I want to get to.
